Text Education

Text Education was shown for two days at the V&A’s Village Fete ’07. The game took place on two giant phones originally created from hacked dance mats. Competitors fought it out to complete the texting lessons, using only their feet to spell the words. First to finish wins the golden phone… loser gets the dunce’s hat!

It’s a lego car factory! Apparently build by German schoolchildren aged 14-17. Now that lego machines can reproduce, is a full scale lego rebellion imminent?

Yes Digit now own a milling machine! So circuit boards, 3D plastic models, engraved signs and many more exciting things can now be made in house. Now we just have to build it…. see you in a few days.

Desklamp bob – first prototype
The desklamp reads the BBC news feed every 30 minutes and reacts physcially to it’s content, through it’s movements and colour of light. It has also been given a presence online, as a chat bot on an IRC server and so can be cheered up or abused through compliments and criticisms.
